Sorry I have not posted in about a week, life has been hectic. The job search is still going strong, and I have been devoting quite a lot of time to it.
Enough about the rigors of life, back to what really matters, GAMING!!!
Ok, so I finally finished puzzle quest on my i pod touch, and I must say i thouroughly enjoyed that games. The puzzle battles were great, the story was your average rpg fantasy tale, but all in all it was great mindless entertainment.
On the up and up we are only about 2 weeks away from Halo Reach, and I dont care what anyone says I am excited. I am definately looking forward to blowing away covenant as new characters, and from early player reviews i have perused, the new weapons are quite satisfying.
This weekend i will definately be sitting down for some serious gaming, I am going to try and put some time and effort into finally finishing border lands. I want to finish this game before its next dlc comes out, and before halo, force unleashed 2, fable 3, black opps, and what will be a most delightful suprise from the screen shots i have seen, the new castlevania game.
back to work I go,

A weekend full of dissapointment and fun
So this weekend was a great one for me, sorry i was not able to post at all.
Friday went to the girlfriends and we saw the expendables. I know this is a gaming blog, but i cannot allow this to go unnoticed, this movie sucked. I know there is not supposed to be some deep story to any action movie, but this movie barely even had a semblance of a story to it at all ergo all action in the movie was gratuitous.
enough about that, got back into borderlands this weekend, i forgot how far behind i am in that game, there always seems to be another game that comes along and takes my attention away from the game. I followed up borderlands with some more fable 2, trying to unlock all the achievements there.
RDR x pack is still treating me well, i dont know if it is just me, but it seems to me that i am finding less and less people on that game than normal, seems people are reverting back to mw2 again.
September 14 the clock is ticking looking forward to halo reach, i know gamestop is offering free goodies at the midnight openings as well as some cool bonus stuff if you pre order there.
That is all for now more posts to come this week.
Happy gaming all

killers and legends
Spent some time last night with the new killers and legends pack on red dead redemptions. My first impressions: The pack is pretty cool, it was a little pricey at 800 microsoft points or, $10, but i am sure i will get my fair share of online play out of the pack over time.
I spent about an hour online with the new pack, played around with a couple of the new characters. I think it is kinda funny that all the story line characters from the game are available to play as right off the bat, but they all have different names. Under the legends category however all of these same characters with their story line names are unlockable. I am not sure why rockstar did this, but i guess it is one more achievement to look forward to unlocking.
I logged on with some friends of mine and we had a great time throwing tomahawks at each other. It is pretty much like using the throwing knife in Modern warefare 2, but is is satisfying.
Will update more about the pack as i play, i am hoping this blog picks up readers so we can get interactive discussions about games going.
will post this weekend, going out of town to the girlfriends. Seeing the Expendables!! will def post on that movie.
also planning on picking up and finishing borderlands before the new dlc comes out for it will update when i have more info on the the DLC, all i know is it is going to be full of claptraps!!

First post
Taking a quick break right now to start my first post here. First of all I am not here on the payroll of any company. I just want to share my own personal reviews of video games, apps and any other noteworthy gaming related information.
I am a 40 hour a week desk jockey/ road warrior, my job is stressful and there is nothing mroe i would like to do than mind meld to a great game at the end of the day. The problem is this, games are expensive, gamers shell out 60 bucks for a new game and so many times come home to realize that either it sucks, was too short, or was far less than expected.
I am going to post my reviews of games that i deem are worthy of my time, and hopefully anyone who reads this might pick it up and find it worthy of their time as well. I will always post what games i am currently playing, and my rating system will be based out of clocks. I will rate the games between 1 and 5 clocks, 1 being not worth to much time, and 5 being worth staying up that extra hour on a work night to play a bit more.
I understand the time constraints when it comes to gaming and a job. I work 40 hours a week, i commute an hour each way to work and i work out monday through friday. My day starts at six and by the time i can sit down and game it is about 9 at night. I am tired and i want a game that is fun, enjoyable, but i dont feel constricted to it, like so many games make gamers feel these days, that they have to sit down and bang the whole thing out in one sitting.
I hope you enjoy this blog and there will be a new post tonight or tomorrow.
Currently playing:
Red Dead Redemption: (New content play tonight, will post tomorrow)
Fable 2: Replaying to get myself in the mood for Fable 3 in November.
Puzzle Quest: on my I pod touch, addicting and a great m indless game to play.
On pre order:
Halo Reach
COD black opps
Force Unleashed 2
Medal of Honor
Fable 3
